Remembrance Day 2023
The whole school observed two minutes silence to remember the fallen. The children understood and respected the historical nature of the event and represented their school brilliantly.
Black History in year 6
Year 6 explored the life and controversy of Vice President Kamala Harris as their black history hero. A large focus was taken on the importance of understnading bias when using historical sources.
Black History in Year 4
Year 4's black history hero was Marcus Rashford. They explored the impact of his stance on hunger on the children of the UK during the pandemic.
Year 5's Viking Visit to Warrington Museum
Year 5 loved exploring the artefacts, costumes and information on hand about the Vikings and their local links at the Warrington Museum.
