Year 3 Stone Age Day - Tuesday 1st October 2019

Year 3 visited Tattenhall Centre to experience and explore the life of a Stone Age person.

We had such a lovely time building huts and dressing them with 'animal skins', creating a camp fire and sharpening and skinning willow sticks so we could cook our dough over the fire, Stone Age style.

After that, we created clay pots using our hands to roll the sausage shapes before constructing it into circles.

Following this, we put our archery skills to the test and used the bow and arrows to have a competition of 'who could get their arrow the furthest?'

Finally, we made string and rolled it into Stone Age accessories... BRACELETS!
